Abstract : We discuss results on existence and qualitative property of positive solutions for coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations. We also report more recent work on the effect of mixed couplings for which coexistence of synchronization and segregation may occur, in particular, we examine the asymptotic behavior of least energy solutions for mixed coupling.
