Abstract : Linear systems on projective varieties are central objects in algebraic geometry and have been intensively studied over the past decades.
One major problem about linear systems is to determine whether they are base point free or very ample, and more generally jet ample. In this talk, I will introduce the singularity theory in algebraic geometry and explain how to apply it to study adjoint linear systems.
I will present results from my research related to the Fujita's conjectures and jet ampleness on Toric varieties.
