课程简介: Traveling waves are commonplace in nature. They play  important roles in modern science. This online course introduces basic concepts and classical applications of traveling waves. For traveling waves of some reaction diffusion models, basic theoretical results on existence, uniqueness and asymptotic stability will be explained in detail using ODE phase plane analysis、sub-supper solution techniques, PDE and semigroup theories. For applications, free boundary problems, pattern formations and  spreading of generalized waves will be presented.
