Abstract:

主要讨论2周期函数的r阶导数的连续模受上凸光滑模控制的光滑函数类的n- Kolmogorov相对宽度以及定义在全实轴上函数的r阶导数的连续模受上凸光滑模控制的光滑函数类利用指数型整函数最佳逼近的误差估计. 在这两个问题上得到渐近的结果。

题目2:On the power of standard information for weighted L_2-approximation in the average case setting

Abstract:

We study investigates tractability and exponential convergence (EC) tractability of multivariate approximation in the average-case setting for the standard information class. For the normalized error criterion, we show that the power of standard information is the same as the power of linear information for all notions of tractability and EC-tractability. For the absolute error criterion, we show that the power of standard information is the same as the power of linear information under some additional conditions on the trace of the covariance operators. We deal with the tensor product approximation as an application.
