Abstract：This is an introductory course on discrete and smooth geometry on surfaces.

There will be many topics to be covered in the course. These include: hyperbolic geometry, Gauss-Bonnet, basic circle packing theory, convex surfaces and hyperbolic convex hulls, Riemann mapping theorem and its discrete counterparts, Schlaefli formula for tetrahedra and its applications and discrete conformality of polyhedral surfaces.
