Abstract : In this talk we give a method to construct AB-contexts that originated from the work of Auslander and Buchweitz. As applications we obtain results on the Gorenstein flat dimension, some of which improve results by Holm by removing the assumption that the ring should be coherent. This talk is based on a joint work with L. W. Christensen, S. Estrada, P. Thompsom, D.-J. Wu and G. Yang.
