Abstract : We consider symmetry reductions for a sequence of evolution equations which includes at lower orders several well-known partial differential equations. We study in Particular the case $/tau=0$ of the non-classical method, discussing the relationship between $/phi$ and the corresponding  solutions  of the evolution equations that can or cannot be obtained.
