Abstract :  Given a free involution $/tau$ on a space $X$ and a map $f:X/to Y$, a Nielsen type number (Nielsen Borsuk-Ulam) $NBU(f,/tau)$ has been defined. When $X$ and $Y$ are closed orientable $n$-manifolds with $n/ge 3$, $NBU(f,/tau)$ is a sharp lower bound for the number of orbits $/{x,/tau(x)/}$ such that $f'(x)=f'/circ /tau(x)$ for all $f'$ homotopic to $f$. In this talk, I will relate $NBU(f,/tau)$ with other Nielsen type numbers and discuss how $NBU(f,/tau)$ may becomputed.
