Abstract: We will present a new proof for Gromov's almost flat manifoldstheorem. The new proof is a simplified version of a proof for maximally collapsed manifolds with Ricci curvature and local rewinding volume bounded below, which generalizes the Gromov's almost flat manifolds theorem.
