Abstract :  The theory for viscous compressible fluids in a barotropic regime has been developed  in the monograph by P.-L.Lions,  and later extended by E.Feireisl and collaborators and since then has been a very active field of study. In this lecture, we will introduce the global existence of weak solutions to the 3D compressible Navier-Stokes equations which was obtained by Lions-Feireisl.
