题目：On Conformal geometry of conic 4-manifolds

Abstract: In these talks I will report on some recent joint work with Biao Ma and Wei Wei.  We will start with some background materials on conformal geometry. First, we discuss sigma_2 curvature and Q curvature problems for smooth 4-manifolds. Then, we introduce Troyanov’s theory for conic surfaces. We then introduce our setup for conic 4-folds. We then  summarize our main results. In each case, we obtain Gauss-Bonnet-Chern formulae and discuss solutions of corresponding PDEs. We then compare the different characters for the sigma-2 Yamabe problem and constant Q-curvature problem in dimension 4. In subsequent talks, we will discuss the sigma_2 Yamabe problem and constant Q-curvature problem in detail. We will focus on the essential techniques applied and possible future problems.
