Abstract：

In this talk, I will first briefly introduce my research on object oriented data analysis (OODA) with application to neuroimaging studies. I will then talk about two recent OODA projects. The first part of the talk is about a novel supervised principal component regression method for functional data with possibly high dimensional variables. The second part of the talk deals with a nonparametric regression model for matrix data object. For both projects, the rates of convergence for the obtained estimators are established. Numerical studies and applications to the imaging studies lend further support to the proposed methodologies.
