摘要：In 1757  Leonard Euler introduced for the first time the system of equations (today carrying his name) describing the motion of an  inviscid fluid through its density and velocity. Since that time his model has gained a large popularity not only among mathematicians but also in the applied community. However to this day mathematics struggles with the most basic piece of the puzzle and that is what is the appropriate notion of a solution. I will explain the history and recent developments with respect to the notions of solution to Euler equations and introduce an innovative approach to the notion of measure-valued solution together with our hopes for its useful future.
